GOOF...BALL.

For Jackson's class Valentines we got on board with the mustache trend.
We could not resist.
He thinks they are hilarious and as it turns out they are a good thing to have laying around your house.

We went for the classic 'I (mustache) You A Question...'

I don't mean to toot my own horn but we were the only ones in his whole class to make our own Valentines
...I was kind of disappointed actually.

It was fun doing this little project with him, this kid is a MAJOR goof ball!!! (like sometimes it's a problem)
You gotta let that inner weirdo shine through sometimes ya know?

Bucky Buckle All To Ourselves!

We got a little red headed surprise on Feb. 13 and got to keep him with us, sans Mom and Dad, till the 15th!!
We had such a good time with him! On Monday he and Jackson played for 6 hours straight!
There was no warm up period needed, when he arrived the playing began and was only interrupted briefly for homework (which was done surprisingly quick) and didn't stop till bed time, which was pushed back an hour:)

A little Valentine surprise in the morning and the kids may or may not have had some form of candy for all three meals this day...

We went out to lunch (WHEW!!! 2 two year olds?? No thank you!!)
Soph and Bucky went on a ride;)

And we finished up the day by taking Valentines to all our cousins. I don't know if Bucky has ever been around so many crazy kids at once but he jumped right in on the action everywhere we went!

"NASTICS!!!" with Richmond

Karen and I put Carson and Sophia in a tumbling class on Wednesdays and since that was Richmond's last day with us we brought along our little friend to class, "nastics" (it sounds/looks a little off but it sounds really cute when Soph says it).
I'm so glad he was here and that the teachers didn't mind us bringing him along cause it was pretty fun to watch them all together. I love taking Soph to it every week, once she loosens her grip of me and actually participates, it is very cute.

Bucky was a natural at the rings and bars;)

Sophia is getting pretty good at waiting for her turn... surprising, I know. They both did pretty darn good at following instructions and staying where they were supposed to be for the most part but it was one of the more aerobic classes for me. I broke a sweat chasing them both around, some people may have been annoyed by it but it was pretty funny if you ask me:)

My pretty Sophia:) I really, really love her.

STAMPS!!
(I love how Carson and Soph both look so anxious waiting for the teacher and stamp to get to them)
It is often the most anticipated and most talked about part! You get TWO stamps on your feet!!

Totally cute!!
We were so glad to have him with us! He was absolutely hilarious!! Jackson was cracking up at him for three days straight, and even for a few days after he left.

Jackson's favorite:
*after Jackson suggested a plan Bucky turned to him and said
"Hey guy, GUY! no deal"

Some of my favorite moments included:
*I gave him some fresh, hot french fries, he eats one
"Oh OOOoooo Ohhhh, mmmmm, so good"

*Jackson unloaded his Valentine loot from school and upon noticing the skittles
"Oh I want to taste the rainbow!"
(probably my favorite)

Funny, funny boy. LOVE his little voice! Makes everything he says so cute.

Happy New Year...2 months ago.

I kind of have a bad rememory but I think this might have been the first time we have had a New Years Eve party. If not, it's been a while at least.
Grandma Loni brought party hats and blowers (that's what they are called right?), of course we had root beer floats and other goodies, played mexican train (politically correct, yeah) and all kinds of fun!

(those scars on Chlole's face were not done by my sweet angel darling daughter, I'm sure)
Carson and Soph had a little dance party in the kitchen that was HIL...wait for it (I've been watching too much HIMYM)...LARIOUS!!! Carson would NOT dance in front of Karen so she was instructed, by him, to leave the area. As soon as she was out of sight, oh boy did he have some sweet moves. Sophia is no stranger to the dance floor and can cut a rug but Carson was cracking us up because he kept an eye out for Karen the whole time to make sure she wasn't watching and he was tearing it up with his moves!! Funny kid.

Played a couple rounds of 'head bands.'
Just before 12 we turned on the strobe light, called all the kids into the living room, watched the ball drop and drank sparkling cider from the bottle, well the kids did, after it got passed around to all the kids we decided to just skip out on that;)

Soph was too pooped from all the dancing but at least she had her hat on still.
